1.
Have baby sitting on your hip, with the
buckle at your collarbone. |
2.
Bring your arm over baby’s head and slide him or her around
onto your back. |
NOTE:
Baby must be big enough and old enough to hold up his/her head
and to be able to wrap legs around your hips.
|
IMPORTANT:
Make sure that the Baba Sling is as firm and tight as possible.
Also pull the top strap tighter as this will hold baby in closer
to you.
Make sure that the Baba Sling fully encircles baby’s legs
and comes as close to baby’s knees as possible.

Back
position- lying down for newborns |
|
You can carry a younger or smaller baby in the lying down
position, on your back. Have baby in the Baba Sling already
with head on the same side as shoulder padding, then have
someone else buckle the Baba Sling on you. Or you can lie
baby, who again is already in the Baba Sling, on the edge
of a bed/couch and kneel down and buckle the Baba Sling around
you (remember - with the buckle at the front).
|
|
Note:
With all of the positions, take care and
keep watchful of your little one. Do things with
the safety of your baby in mind. If you are wearing
the Baba Sling for long periods of time, change
shoulders and take rests, especially if your baby
is heavy. |
