The
Baba Sling has a unique double strapping system, which means
that you can pull the top strap in tighter and have the bottom
strap a little longer, this allows you to have the depth for
baby, to sit in (bottom strap being longer) and the top strap
will pull baby in closer towards you.
It
is very important for the comfort of both you and your baby
to have the Baba Sling in the above stated fashion, and when
you change shoulders to change the length of the straps.
Otherwise
baby will end up hanging forward and you will need to support
him or her and the bottom railing will not give room enough
for their legs.

You
can adjust Baba Sling here to make one strap shorter and one
longer |
|
top
strap shorter
bottom
strap a little
longer |
|
top
strap too long
bottom strap too
short
|
|
|
All
in all keep the Baba Sling as firm as possible so that baby’s
body weight is drawn into you, rather than the weight dragging
you forwards.
|
|
This
is how it should look from behind with top strap shorter. |
If you prefer you can wear the buckle at the front so you can
adjust it yourself until you know your own adjustment and can
wear the buckle at the back. |
